What the Science Slam is Not
The Science Slam is not a Science Fair
The typical science fair centers on children's projects. In contrast, Science Slam centers on adults creating experiences for children. Most of those adults will be parents at the school; those who contribute labs and exhibits often involve their children in preparations leading up to the event as well as in the event itself.
